Trying To Clean My Cabin

I'm no good at this
and my cabin doesn't help.

Decades of dirt and grime,
a decaying outhouse,
cobwebs and insects,
windows nearly opaque:
Serenity, you are lovely,
but you are filthy.

I am in urgent need
of a French maid
(uniform optional).

Or, maybe, I'll just continue
not to look too closely.
