Steady my heart, Lord.

This day is long
and my pain is great.

Show me the path
to your better tomorrow.

Lead me away
from self-destruction
and self-doubt.

I know there is a way,
but today,
I can't find the way.

Show me
the peace that abides
in your grace.

Open the gate
that leads to peace.
